Cala' N Forcat

A popular location with families and couples, Cala'n Forcat is one of Menorca's busier spots, with many attractions. Here, the rocky coastline harbours three small sandy inlets and other enticing little coves where you can sunbathe and dive from the rocks or snorkel in translucent warm waters. Other ways to pass the daytime hours include trying some local dishes at the open-air cafes and restaurants, as well as diving into the many shops for souvenirs. Later in the day the relaxed pace livens up, with an excellent choice of bustling bars to see you through until late. Situated on the west coast of the island, Cala'n Forcat is a good base for visiting the nearby old capital of Ciudadela, a whitewashed town where you can stock up on well-known Menorcan cheeses, jewellery and other wares.
